Services
Split-system air conditioners combine one or more indoor units that produce climate-controlled air with a single, heat-venting outdoor unit. They’re the simplest way to keep your Sunshine Coast property cool and comfortable.
When aesthetics matter, ducted air conditioning can be a better choice. It’s quieter, cleaner, and more efficient than split-systems, particularly for multi-room properties in places like Noosa Heads, Buderim, and Pelican Waters.
Most Sunshine Coast businesses look better without a bulky split-system unit occupying wall space. Cassette air cons deliver the same level of climate control – and integrate with your wall or ceiling for a clean, professional aesthetic.
Keep your premises comfortable for both customers and staff with commercial-grade air conditioning. Ask us about air quality options like HEPA filtration – as well as smart automation.
Deep Blue crew installed a split system in my home at the beginning of summer, and we could not be happier with their swift service and professionalism.
We got great advice and a very reasonable quote. I would highly recommend these guys if you need an a/c installed.

Air conditioners are no different to any other machine:
They need regularly servicing to keep running at their best – and prevent unexpected failures.
Dirty filters and coils, for example, lead to decreased performance and worse indoor air quality, which is the last thing you want over summer.
The Sunshine Coast climate also means your air con runs far more – and works harder – than units in more southerly properties.
Get in touch with us to book a repair or preventive service anywhere on the Sunshine Coast.
If you don’t have a servicing schedule set up, ask us about automatic reminders for annual maintenance.
We’ve supplied and installed Daikins for almost 15 years because they’re one of Australia’s most reliable air con brands.
But, like all climate systems, they need regular maintenance.
That’s as true for rugged commercial models like the FXDYQ-MAV1 as it is for sleek domestic air conditioners like the Zena.
If your Sunshine Coast property has a Daikin installed, our fully licensed installers can service and repair it – Pelican Waters, Noosa Heads, and everywhere in between.
Differences
Exceptional customer service is our cornerstone.
That means fast, clear communication, relentlessly good workmanship, and sites that look as clean as they did when we first walked in.
We’ve been helping the Sunshine Coast stay cool since 2012.
We know air conditioning better than almost anyone – which is why we’re warranty agents for 2 of Australia’s biggest electrical brands.
Quality installations depend on the skill of our people and the products we use.
It’s why we only supply home appliances that we know will perform at their best, year after year.
We built a new home using Metricon in 2023 and Deep Blue was their preferred Aircon contractor for our 7-zone ducted system.
The installation team knew exactly what they were doing and carried out an efficient, clean job. The system worked flawlessly from the outset, and they spent time showing us how to use it.
We’ve just had our 2nd annual maintenance visit, and that team was extremely thorough and identified a couple of issues which they investigated in detail and fixed. They spent time listening to what we described, carried out tests and verified that the system and its AirTouch4 controller were correctly configured.
Very highly recommended indeed – we wouldn’t use anyone else!

Questions
It depends on the property and the type of air conditioner you want to install. If you’re adding a 2.5-kilowatt split-system air conditioner to a Sunshine Coast property (with back-to-back units), you can expect to pay around between $2,000 and $2,500 for both supply and installation.
Generally, the air con itself will be roughly half of that cost. (Keep in mind that businesses advertising substantially cheaper installations may use lower-quality units. We only supply market-leading brands like Daikin and Fujitsu.)
Labour for the installation will be the other half, and can be broken down into:
Because many air con models need a dedicated circuit to maintain their warranty, the electrician may need to add an extra circuit if you don’t already have one available.
There’s no one ‘best’ brand of air conditioner – each one has different pros and cons. Generally, though, Daikin is considered one of the most reliable. It’s won multiple awards for dependability, including being recognised as Australia’s most reliable brand at the 2024 Finder Retail Awards. (It’s exactly why we chose them as one of our 2 preferred air con brands.)
Fujitsu and Mitsubishi Electric are also considered good choices – both brands have strong global presences and have been market-tested for decades.
Yes, we do. We hold a $20 million public liability policy. We’re happy to supply proof of insurance upon request.
A high-quality air conditioning unit should last for 10 to 15 years before it needs replacing. Regular servicing can help you get the most out of your unit, particularly if you live in an oceanside suburb (like Caloundra, Mooloolaba, or Noosa) that’s affected by sea breezes.
Our Sunshine Coast air conditioning installers operate out of our Baringa office, located at 26 Hancock Way, Baringa QLD 4551. We’re a 12-minute drive from Caloundra, a 20-minute drive from Buderim, and a 22-minute drive from Mooloolaba. If you need a same-day repair or service, get in touch with us to ask about availability.
