Services
Whether it’s a single split system for a Buderim bedroom or a full ducted solution for a commercial fit-out, we’ll design and install the right system for your space.
Split systems are the most popular choice for Buderim homes. A single indoor unit connects to an outdoor compressor, delivering efficient cooling to individual rooms without the need for ductwork.
We supply and install premium Daikin and Fujitsu split systems suited to Buderim’s subtropical climate — energy-efficient units that cool fast and run quiet.
For whole-home comfort in Buderim, ducted air conditioning is the gold standard. Cool every room from a single concealed unit, with zone control so you only condition the rooms you’re using.
We design ducted systems to suit the layout of your Buderim property — ensuring balanced airflow, energy efficiency and whisper-quiet operation.
Cassette units sit flush in the ceiling and distribute cool air in four directions — ideal for open-plan living areas, offices and retail spaces in Buderim.
With a sleek, unobtrusive design and powerful output, cassette systems are a popular choice for Buderim businesses and larger residential spaces.
Buderim’s cafés, medical centres, retail shops and offices all need reliable climate control. We design and install commercial air conditioning systems that keep your staff comfortable and your customers happy.
From VRV/VRF multi-systems to large-scale ducted solutions, we handle every stage — design, supply, installation and commissioning.
I rang to get a quote for new ducted air conditioning at my home. From first contact the friendly team were great to deal with.
Kiel is very knowledgable regarding brands and capacity needed. He was able to answer all my questions and help me decide.
My new air conditioner was installed within three weeks! I am so happy with the product.
The team installing the air conditioner were very respectful & professional and even took their boots off while walking through my house (this is a first for any tradies) The floor was left very clean and all rubbish removed.
10/10 for the team at Deep Blue Air Conditioning !!

Services
Like any machine, your air conditioning needs regular maintenance to work at its best.
Air filters become clogged, piping cracks and leaks, fans wear out, and condenser coils get dusty, leading to poor cooling and worse air quality inside your home.
Left untreated, those small problems can devolve into expensive repairs — the kind that make an annual service well worth it.
Don’t wait for a major issue to appear. Book in your next service now or ask us about a regular servicing schedule.
Services
Even the best air conditioners can break. Parts can be faulty. Units can age quickly, especially in Sunshine Coast suburbs like Buderim where humidity takes its toll.
And, sometimes, heavy use over hot summers can burn out parts like the capacitor.
The root cause doesn’t matter. If the air conditioning at your Buderim home or business isn’t working the way it should, we’ll help you fix it, fast.
Brent and Nick did a first class job in servicing our ducted air conditioning system and were far more thorough than others we have had.
This included getting the buttons in each individual room operating for the first time since we have been in the house.

Questions
It depends on the property and the type of air conditioner you want to install. If you’re adding a 2.5-kilowatt split-system air conditioner to a Buderim property (with back-to-back units), you can expect to pay around between $2,000 and $2,500 for both supply and installation.
Generally, the air con itself will be roughly half of that cost. (Keep in mind that businesses advertising substantially cheaper installations may use lower-quality units. We only supply market-leading brands like Daikin and Fujitsu.)
Labour for the installation will be the other half, and can be broken down into:
Because many air con models need a dedicated circuit to maintain their warranty, the electrician may need to add an extra circuit if you don’t already have one available.
Your air conditioning installer needs 2 kinds of licences: a refrigerant handling licence and an electrical licence.
The minimum class of refrigerant licence they’ll need is RSS03, which qualifies them to install any single-head split-system air conditioner of under 18 kilowatts. (Keep in mind that, under ARC’s rules, most ducted air conditioning is technically ‘split-system’, in that there’s a central internal unit and an external unit.)
They’ll also need an unrestricted electrical licence. You can check the licensing of an individual or company in Queensland on the QBCC website.
It really depends on your air con model, your building envelope, ambient temperatures, and current electricity rates. On average, consumer website Choice estimates that:
Keep in mind that newer, more energy-efficient models will consume much less energy, particularly if your house isn’t well-sealed or -insulated.
Adding a smart automation system like AirTouch can also help you save money, especially over summer. Suburbs like Buderim (located slightly inland, away from cooling sea breezes) can get extremely hot and humid. By keeping your home at a warm but manageable temperature (say, 26 degrees indoors) with less humidity, you’ll feel much cooler – without spiking your electricity bill. (Installing overhead fans can also help.)
A high-quality air conditioning unit should last for 10 to 15 years before it needs replacing. Regular servicing can help you get the most out of your unit, particularly if you live in a hinterland suburb like Buderim where humidity and subtropical weather put extra demand on your system.
