About Us
Deep Blue was founded more than a decade ago by Clint and Troy Jones, brothers who’d spent over 20 years working in air conditioning and site management respectively.
Since then, we’ve evolved into an end-to-end air con and electrical company that helps homeowners, businesses and builders create better, more comfortable spaces.
We built a new home using Metricon in 2023 and Deep Blue was their preferred Aircon contractor for our 7-zone ducted system.
The installation team knew exactly what they were doing and carried out an efficient, clean job. The system worked flawlessly from the outset, and they spent time showing us how to use it.
We’ve just had our 2nd annual maintenance visit, and that team was extremely thorough and identified a couple of issues which they investigated in detail and fixed.

No, we don’t currently do electrical work for commercial premises. We do, however, offer all residential electrical services, including appliance installations, switchboard upgrades, and smoke alarm installations.

Air conditioners fall into 2 basic categories: split systems and package units.
A split system is separated into an indoor unit (which contains the evaporator) and an outdoor unit (which includes a compressor and heat pump). The most common kind of split system is wall-mounted air conditioning, but most ducted air conditioners are also, technically, split systems – their indoor units are normally just hidden. Cassette air conditioners, which recess their indoor units into the ceiling, are also popular split systems.
Not all split systems have just one indoor and outdoor unit, though. Multi-head split systems feature a single outdoor unit and multiple wall-mounted indoor units. They’re ideal for cooling different rooms without taking up too much space outside.
A package unit works a little differently. A single outdoor contains the evaporator, compressor, and heat pump; cooled air is then distributed indoors via ducting. Package units are normally found in commercial buildings with limited indoor space.
