Deep Blue upgraded this Banora Point home from split-system air conditioning to a 16kW ducted system. The new installation provides conditioned air across the main living areas and bedrooms, with zoning for more controlled operation.
The homeowners wanted to move from their existing split-system air conditioning to a whole-home setup that would provide more consistent comfort and better temperature control throughout the property.
Deep Blue removed the existing split-system arrangement and installed a new 16kW Daikin ducted air conditioning system as the replacement solution.
The new ducted system was configured to serve four bedrooms, the living room and the combined dining and kitchen area, allowing the main parts of the home to be conditioned from a single system.
The installation includes seven individual zones with temperature sensors, giving the homeowners more control over how different areas of the house are cooled and managed.
The job ran without significant installation difficulties. The main focus at completion was to make sure the new system was operating correctly, with final testing and commissioning carried out to confirm performance across the ducted setup and zoning controls.
