Services
Split systems remain the go-to option for Maryborough households. One indoor unit pairs with an outdoor compressor to provide targeted cooling for individual rooms – no ductwork required.
We install leading Daikin and Fujitsu models built for Queensland’s heat. These units start up quickly, run efficiently and stay quiet- exactly what you need when Maryborough’s inland summers push the mercury past 35 degrees.
Ducted air conditioning brings consistent comfort to every corner of your Maryborough home. A single concealed unit distributes cooled air through ceiling ducts, and zone controls let you target specific rooms to save on running costs.
Our team tailors each ducted installation to the unique layout of your property – balancing airflow, maintaining energy efficiency and keeping noise levels to a minimum.
Mounted flush with the ceiling, cassette units push air outward in four directions – making them an excellent fit for open-plan living areas, offices and retail spaces throughout Maryborough.
Their low-profile design blends into any ceiling while delivering strong, even cooling across the room. For Maryborough businesses and larger homes, cassette systems offer the perfect balance of power and aesthetics.
Maryborough’s shops, medical practices, restaurants and offices all rely on dependable climate control to keep operations running smoothly. We design and deliver commercial systems that maintain comfortable conditions for both staff and visitors.
Whether you need a VRV/VRF multi-system or a large-scale ducted installation, we manage every phase – from initial design and equipment supply through to installation and commissioning.
I rang to get a quote for new ducted air conditioning at my home. From first contact the friendly team were great to deal with.
Kiel is very knowledgable regarding brands and capacity needed. He was able to answer all my questions and help me decide.
My new air conditioner was installed within three weeks! I am so happy with the product.
The team installing the air conditioner were very respectful & professional and even took their boots off while walking through my house (this is a first for any tradies) The floor was left very clean and all rubbish removed.
10/10 for the team at Deep Blue Air Conditioning !!

Services
Your air conditioning system needs regular attention to perform at its best – especially in an inland city like Maryborough where units work harder through long, hot summers.
Over time, filters collect dust and debris, refrigerant lines can develop leaks, fan motors wear down, and condenser coils lose efficiency. The result is weaker cooling and lower air quality inside your home.
When these issues are caught early through routine maintenance, they’re inexpensive to address. Left unattended, they can escalate into costly breakdowns.
Stay ahead of the problem. Book your next air conditioning service today or talk to us about setting up a regular maintenance plan.
Services
No air conditioning unit is immune to faults. Components can fail, seals can degrade, and years of heavy use during Maryborough’s humid summers can take their toll on even the most reliable systems.
Capacitors burn out, thermostats drift, and compressor issues can bring your entire unit to a halt.
Whatever the cause, if your Maryborough air conditioner isn’t cooling properly – or isn’t running at all – our team will diagnose the fault and get you back to comfort as quickly as possible.
Brent and Nick did a first class job in servicing our ducted air conditioning system and were far more thorough than others we have had.
This included getting the buttons in each individual room operating for the first time since we have been in the house.

Questions
Pricing varies based on your property and the type of system you choose. For a standard 2.5-kilowatt split-system with back-to-back mounting at a Maryborough home, expect to pay somewhere between $2,000 and $2,500 including both the unit and installation.
Roughly half of that figure covers the air conditioner itself. (Be cautious of significantly cheaper quotes – they often involve lower-quality brands. We exclusively supply market-leading units from Daikin and Fujitsu.)
The remaining cost covers labour, which typically breaks down into:
Many air conditioning units require a dedicated electrical circuit to maintain their warranty, so the electrician may need to add one if your property doesn’t already have a spare available.
Your air conditioning installer needs 2 kinds of licences: a refrigerant handling licence and an electrical licence.
The minimum class of refrigerant licence they’ll need is RSS03, which qualified them to install any single-head split-system air conditioner of under 18 kilowatts. (Keep in mind that, under ARC’s rules, most ducted air conditioning is technically ‘split-system’, in that there’s a central internal unit and an external unit. You can check an individual’s refrigerant licensing here.
They’ll also need an unrestricted electrical licence. You can check the licensing of an individual or company in Queensland here.
The ‘$5,000 rule’ is a heuristic you can use to estimate whether it’s better to repair or replace your air conditioning. If your air con has a problem, multiply the quoted cost of the repairs by the age in years of your system. If the resulting figure is over $5,000, a full replacement might be more cost-effective.
For example, if your air con is 10 years old and the cost of a repair is $550, the total would be $5,500. Under the rule, you’d be better off replacing your air con than repairing it.
With that said: there are so many exceptions to the $5,000 rule that it’s basically worthless. Instead, think about:
Most quality air conditioning systems last between 10 and 15 years before they need to be replaced. Consistent servicing plays a big role in reaching the upper end of that range – particularly in an inland city like Maryborough, where intense summer heat and humidity mean your system works harder than it would in milder climates.
