Services
Split systems remain the go-to option for Nambour households. One indoor head unit pairs with an outdoor compressor to deliver targeted cooling to a single room – no ductwork required.
We install Daikin and Fujitsu split systems that are built for the demands of hinterland living, where humidity lingers and ocean breezes don’t reach. Quiet, powerful and energy-efficient.
Ducted air conditioning delivers whole-home climate control through a concealed central unit. With zone control, you only cool the rooms you’re using – perfect for Nambour’s mix of older homes and modern builds.
We tailor every ducted system to the floor plan of your property, ensuring even airflow, minimal noise and maximum energy savings across every room.
Mounted flush in the ceiling, cassette units push cool air outward in four directions – making them an excellent fit for open living areas, medical practices and shop fronts in Nambour’s town centre.
They blend into the ceiling line and deliver strong, even cooling without wall-mounted clutter. A smart option for both residential renovations and commercial spaces.
Nambour’s growing town centre is home to medical clinics, professional offices, hospitality venues and retail businesses that all depend on reliable climate control. We build commercial systems that meet those demands day after day.
Whether you need a VRV/VRF multi-system or a large-scale ducted installation, we manage the entire process from initial design through to commissioning and handover.
I rang to get a quote for new ducted air conditioning at my home. From first contact the friendly team were great to deal with.
Kiel is very knowledgable regarding brands and capacity needed. He was able to answer all my questions and help me decide.
My new air conditioner was installed within three weeks! I am so happy with the product.
The team installing the air conditioner were very respectful & professional and even took their boots off while walking through my house (this is a first for any tradies) The floor was left very clean and all rubbish removed.
10/10 for the team at Deep Blue Air Conditioning !!

Location
Deep Blue Air Conditioning has served the Sunshine Coast hinterland and surrounding regions since 2013, building a reputation for honest advice and quality workmanship.
Our crew works out of our Baringa office at 26 Hancock Way – only a short trip down the Bruce Highway to Nambour, so we’re never far away.
Services
Your air conditioner works hard in Nambour’s hinterland climate, where heat and humidity build up without the relief of coastal breezes. Regular servicing keeps it running at peak performance.
Over time, dust and debris clog filters, refrigerant levels drop, drainage lines block and moving parts wear down. The result is reduced cooling output, higher energy bills and poor indoor air quality.
Catching these issues early with a routine service prevents them from turning into costly breakdowns. It also extends the life of your system by years.
Get ahead of the problem. Book a service today or ask us about setting up a regular maintenance plan for your Nambour property.
Services
No air conditioner is immune to faults. Components can fail, refrigerant can leak, and years of heavy use through Nambour’s long summers can take a real toll on any system.
Older Queenslander homes and properties with ageing units are especially prone to breakdowns when the heat really sets in.
Whatever the issue, our technicians will diagnose the problem and get your air conditioning back up and running as quickly as possible. Call us or fill out the form above.
Brent and Nick did a first class job in servicing our ducted air conditioning system and were far more thorough than others we have had.
This included getting the buttons in each individual room operating for the first time since we have been in the house.

Differences
We believe great work starts with great communication.
That means returning your calls promptly, arriving on time, delivering meticulous installations and leaving your property exactly as we found it.
Since 2013, we’ve completed thousands of installations across the Sunshine Coast and hinterland.
That depth of experience is why Daikin and Fujitsu trust us as warranty agents for their products.
A lasting installation comes down to skilled tradespeople and premium products.
We only supply brands we stand behind – units engineered to perform reliably through Nambour’s hot, humid summers.
We’re accredited by leading construction bodies.

Questions
Pricing varies based on your property and the type of system you choose. For a standard 2.5-kilowatt split-system with a back-to-back installation at a Nambour home, expect to pay in the range of $2,000 to $2,500 for supply and installation combined.
Roughly half of that figure covers the unit itself. (Be wary of significantly cheaper quotes – they often mean lower-quality equipment. We exclusively supply trusted brands like Daikin and Fujitsu.)
The remaining cost covers labour, which generally breaks down into:
The remaining cost is labour, which typically includes:
Many air conditioning models require a dedicated power circuit to maintain warranty coverage, so your electrician may need to add one if it’s not already available.
Your air conditioning installer needs 2 kinds of licences: a refrigerant handling licence and an electrical licence.
The minimum class of refrigerant licence they’ll need is RSS03, which qualified them to install any single-head split-system air conditioner of under 18 kilowatts. (Keep in mind that, under ARC’s rules, most ducted air conditioning is technically ‘split-system’, in that there’s a central internal unit and an external unit. You can check an individual’s refrigerant licensing here.
They’ll also need an unrestricted electrical licence. You can check the licensing of an individual or company in Queensland here.
The ‘$5,000 rule’ is a heuristic you can use to estimate whether it’s better to repair or replace your air conditioning. If your air con has a problem, multiply the quoted cost of the repairs by the age in years of your system. If the resulting figure is over $5,000, a full replacement might be more cost-effective.
For example, if your air con is 10 years old and the cost of a repair is $550, the total would be $5,500. Under the rule, you’d be better off replacing your air con than repairing it.
With that said: there are so many exceptions to the $5,000 rule that it’s basically worthless. Instead, think about:
Most quality air conditioning systems will last between 10 and 15 years with proper care. Consistent servicing plays a big role in reaching that upper end, especially in a hinterland town like Nambour where higher humidity and sustained heat put extra strain on your system year after year.
