Services
Cool or heat any part of your property with a split-system air conditioning. We’ll handle any kind of installation – including complicated piping and new electrical circuits.
Ducted air conditioning is quieter, faster, and more aesthetic than a wall-mounted split system. Split your house into zones, then maintain different temperatures with an AirTouch smart control.
Cassette air conditioners are recessed into your wall or ceiling for a clean, minimalist look. They’re also omnidirectional, cooling all parts of a room evenly – ideal for larger spaces like open-plan living areas.
Cool your Baringa business with any kind of air conditioning installation. We’ll help you set up automation for easy management, including features like app-based control.
I rang to get a quote for new ducted air conditioning at my home. From first contact the friendly team were great to deal with.
Kiel is very knowledgable regarding brands and capacity needed. He was able to answer all my questions and help me decide.
My new air conditioner was installed within three weeks! I am so happy with the product.
The team installing the air conditioner were very respectful & professional and even took their boots off while walking through my house (this is a first for any tradies) The floor was left very clean and all rubbish removed.
10/10 for the team at Deep Blue Air Conditioning !!

Our fully licensed installation team operates out of our office on Hancock Way – less than 10 minutes’ drive to any Baringa location.
Services
Like any machine, your air conditioning needs regular maintenance to work at its best.
Air filters become clogged, piping cracks and leaks, fans wear out, and condenser coils get dusty, leading to poor cooling and worse air quality inside your home.
Left untreated, those small problems can even devolve into expensive repairs – the kind that make an annual service well worth it.
Don’t wait for a major issue to appear.
Book in your next service now or ask us about a regular servicing schedule.
Services
Even the best air conditioners can break.
Parts can be faulty.
Units can age quickly, especially in oceanside suburbs like Caloundra.
And, sometimes, heavy use over hot summers can burn out parts like the capacitator.
The root cause doesn’t matter.
If the air conditioning at your Baringa home or business isn’t working the way it should, we’ll help you fix it, fast.
Brent and Nick did a first class job in servicing our ducted air conditioning system and were far more thorough than others we have had.
This included getting the buttons in each individual room operating for the first time since we have been in the house.

Questions
It depends on the property and the type of air conditioner you want to install. If you’re adding a 2.5-kilowatt split-system air conditioner to a Baringa property (with back-to-back units), you can expect to pay around between $2,000 and $2,500 for both supply and installation.
Generally, the air con itself will be roughly half of that cost. (Keep in mind that businesses advertising substantially cheaper installations may use lower-quality units. We only supply market-leading brands like Daikin and Fujitsu.)
Labour for the installation will be the other half, and can be broken down into:
Because many air con models need a dedicated circuit to maintain their warranty, the electrician may need to add an extra circuit if you don’t already have one available.
Your air conditioning installer needs 2 kinds of licences: a refrigerant handling licence and an electrical licence.
The minimum class of refrigerant licence they’ll need is RSS03, which qualified them to install any single-head split-system air conditioner of under 18 kilowatts. (Keep in mind that, under ARC’s rules, most ducted air conditioning is technically ‘split-system’, in that there’s a central internal unit and an external unit. You can check an individual’s refrigerant licensing here.
They’ll also need an unrestricted electrical licence. You can check the licensing of an individual or company in Queensland here.
The ‘$5,000 rule’ is a heuristic you can use to estimate whether it’s better to repair or replace your air conditioning. If your air con has a problem, multiply the quoted cost of the repairs by the age in years of your system. If the resulting figure is over $5,000, a full replacement might be more cost-effective.
For example, if your air con is 10 years old and the cost of a repair is $550, the total would be $5,500. Under the rule, you’d be better off replacing your air con than repairing it.
With that said: there are so many exceptions to the $5,000 rule that it’s basically worthless. Instead, think about:
A high-quality air conditioning unit should last for 10 to 15 years before it needs replacing. Regular servicing can help you get the most out of your unit, particularly if you live in a coastal suburb near Baringa (like Caloundra or Pelican Waters) that’s affected by sea breezes.
