Split systems remain the go-to option for Noosa residences and holiday rentals alike. One indoor head unit paired with an outdoor compressor delivers targeted cooling to a single room – no ductwork required.
We install premium Daikin and Fujitsu split systems built to handle Noosa’s warm, humid summers. These units are energy-efficient, whisper-quiet, and ideal for bedrooms, living areas and Airbnb properties.
Noosa’s premium homes deserve whole-home climate control. Ducted air conditioning cools every room through concealed ceiling vents, with smart zoning so you only pay to condition the spaces you actually use.
We custom-design each ducted system around your floor plan, ensuring consistent airflow throughout the home while keeping noise and running costs to a minimum.
Mounted flush in the ceiling, cassette units push cool air outward in four directions – making them perfect for the open-plan layouts found in many Noosa homes and commercial spaces.
Their low-profile design blends into any interior, while delivering the kind of powerful, even cooling that larger rooms and retail fit-outs demand.
Noosa’s restaurants, boutique shops, resorts and professional suites all depend on reliable climate control to keep guests comfortable and staff productive. We supply and install commercial-grade systems tailored to your business.
Whether it’s a VRV/VRF multi-system for a resort complex or a high-capacity ducted solution for a Hastings Street shopfront, we manage every step from design through to commissioning.
I rang to get a quote for new ducted air conditioning at my home. From first contact the friendly team were great to deal with.
Kiel is very knowledgable regarding brands and capacity needed. He was able to answer all my questions and help me decide.
My new air conditioner was installed within three weeks! I am so happy with the product.
The team installing the air conditioner were very respectful & professional and even took their boots off while walking through my house (this is a first for any tradies) The floor was left very clean and all rubbish removed.
10/10 for the team at Deep Blue Air Conditioning !!

Services
Routine maintenance is the best way to keep your air conditioning running efficiently and reliably for years to come.
Over time, filters clog with dust and allergens, refrigerant lines can develop leaks, and condenser coils accumulate grime — all of which reduce performance and drive up energy bills.
Catching these issues early with a professional service saves you from costly breakdowns down the track, especially given Noosa’s warm, humid climate that keeps systems working hard almost year-round.
Stay ahead of problems by scheduling your next service today, or ask about setting up a regular maintenance plan.
Services
No air conditioner is immune to wear and tear. Components age, parts can fail, and the salt-laden coastal air around Noosa can accelerate corrosion on outdoor units.
Add in the long, humid summers that push systems to their limits, and breakdowns are a matter of when, not if.
Whatever the issue – whether your unit won’t start, isn’t blowing cold, or is making unusual noises – our technicians will diagnose the fault and get your Noosa home or business back to comfortable as quickly as possible.
Brent and Nick did a first class job in servicing our ducted air conditioning system and were far more thorough than others we have had.
This included getting the buttons in each individual room operating for the first time since we have been in the house.

Questions
Pricing varies depending on the type of system and the specifics of your Noosa property. For a standard 2.5-kilowatt split-system installation with back-to-back mounting, you can typically expect to pay somewhere between $2,000 and $2,500 including both the unit and labour.
Roughly half of that covers the air conditioner itself. (Be cautious of significantly cheaper quotes – they often come with budget-grade equipment. We only supply proven brands like Daikin and Fujitsu.)
The remaining cost covers installation labour, which generally includes:
Many air conditioning units require a dedicated electrical circuit to maintain their warranty, so the electrician may need to add one if your property doesn’t already have a spare available.
Your air conditioning installer needs 2 kinds of licences: a refrigerant handling licence and an electrical licence.
The minimum class of refrigerant licence they’ll need is RSS03, which qualified them to install any single-head split-system air conditioner of under 18 kilowatts. (Keep in mind that, under ARC’s rules, most ducted air conditioning is technically ‘split-system’, in that there’s a central internal unit and an external unit. You can check an individual’s refrigerant licensing here.
They’ll also need an unrestricted electrical licence. You can check the licensing of an individual or company in Queensland here.
The ‘$5,000 rule’ is a heuristic you can use to estimate whether it’s better to repair or replace your air conditioning. If your air con has a problem, multiply the quoted cost of the repairs by the age in years of your system. If the resulting figure is over $5,000, a full replacement might be more cost-effective.
For example, if your air con is 10 years old and the cost of a repair is $550, the total would be $5,500. Under the rule, you’d be better off replacing your air con than repairing it.
With that said: there are so many exceptions to the $5,000 rule that it’s basically worthless. Instead, think about:
Most quality air conditioning systems will last between 10 and 15 years with proper care. In a coastal resort area like Noosa, where warm temperatures and high humidity keep units running for extended periods, regular servicing becomes especially important for reaching the upper end of that range.
