If we believe the problem is caused by faulty installation – rather than a defective unit – you may be able to claim a remedy from the original installer under the ACL or, if they have one, their workmanship warranty.
Most modern Daikin air conditioners use R-32, a modern hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) refrigerant with low global warming potential. Unlike older refrigerants, R-32 doesn’t deplete the ozone layer. It can’t, however, be used as a straight replacement for older Daikin systems that use R-410A – if you do have an air conditioning that uses R-410A, it’s typically cheapest to replace it with a new R-32 systems instead.

Dear Deep Blue, we recently had major issues with our Daikin Ducted air conditioning system. The problems have been on-goin for approx 1 month.
We called your company yesterday morning and Peter came out this morning to investigate the problem. He not only diagnosed the problem but fixed it during his visit. This was quite amazing, as unfortunately for us we had already had two different Daikin recommended companies try to fix the problem.
